Hey guys!
This dress was sooo beautiful and comfortable AND affordable! I want to start doing more posts centered around more affordable pieces because as much as I love Madewell, Free People and Anthropology I also love finding more affordable pieces especially for more trendier things that most likely won’t make it into many more seasons (but hey you never know!) I was pleasantly surprised when I found this little gem so I hope you guys love it as much as I did!
Okay so I got this dress at Forever 21 and it is SOO comfy!! Now this was a little bit out of my comfort zone especially because it’s so open and I usually don’t wear stuff that has these many cut outs. I don’t usually gravitate towards this color either, but this season I really wanted something yellow for some reason!
So when I saw this dress and tried it on I decided to go for i, and I’m glad I did because as cute as it is on its own it also looks cute with a white short sleeve shirt underneath or a denim jacket over top! Seriously so cute!
I paired this dress with my black Brixton hat (AGAIN) just because I cant get enough of it, and I really wanted something to kind of break up all the lighter neutral shades also. I paired this outfit with my nude Sam Edelman sandals from last year (they’re my all time fave so I linked them for you guys!!)
I know it’s super cheesy but I’m really glad I went out of my comfort zone to try something new because I actually ended up loving this dress and it was so affordable too, so really it doesn’t get any better! It’s the little things, haha!
I got this in a size small and it fits pretty true to size, I also love that the straps on the back are adjustable so you can make them however tight you want which is so nice! This is a great outfit for the beach or even paired with a cute bralette and jean jacket for a more day time look, or wear it on it’s own for a more evening look!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post (I know it was a little shorter haha) and as always I’ll find some similar options and link them below for you all!
XOXO
